The Renewal of Company Contract: generational turnover, welfare, solidarity


Better measures have been taken to improve the work-life balance, the incentive system has been made more stimulating, and the importance of cultural and educational activities has been emphasized.
A contract that highlights the importance of the Rodacciai Academy project and that aims to valorise the experience of the specialized technicians and workers of the company, a leader in the working of steel: it is one of the principle themes of the new integrative contract exclusive to Rodacciai along with the consolidated welfare agency,already present since 2016.
It is through the transference of this enviable know-how to the next generation, and work experience in the Rodacciai Academy that we prepare for the future in this industrial reality, especially Rodacciai, which is in continuous evolution. This possibility is confirmed and amplified in the new contract that also introduces a new packet of measures for its own employees.
The Individual Welfare Account is confirmed, from which derives a quota of the company bonus, which can be used for the tax-free purchase of goods and services, available on the connected internet site. The new contract improves on the old, as required by the CCNL, allowing the use of credits not bound to the deadline of the 31st of May of the next year.
The right to education has been expanded, a packet of 24 hours has been added, acknowledging the necessity to facilitate and increase the cultural level of the personnel. In a similar fashion, personal education leave has been increased by another five paid days dedicated to activities inherent to studies (mandatory education, higher education, degrees).
One of the socially useful innovations is directed at fathers who, on the most important day – the day of the birth of their child – will have that day recognised as a fully paid a day, in addition to the already legally agreed-upon parental leave. The document also establishes a solidarity contribution in the case of the death of an employee and the mechanism of the incentive system has been improved.
